After the intervention of AIDEF the Directorate of Ordnance (C&S) have issued amendment to their letter dated 03/01/2022 restricting the medicine purchase to not more than Rs.5000 per day.

 DOO(C&S) vide their Letter 03/01/2022 have issued instructions to all the Medical Officer In-charge to restrict procurement of Medicines on day to day basis to Rs.5000 only. This ceiling limit has subjected the patients to unnecessary trouble, since they were not getting the required essential medicines. Immediately AIDEF vide Letter dated 18/01/2022 has protested and represented to the Director General Ordnance to immediately withdraw this artificial ceiling limit.
