Ministry of Health & Family Welfare issued instructions to clarifying that all CGHS Card Holders can avail treatment in any empanelment Hospitals irrespective of city/WC, where the CGHS Card is registered.

 Ministry of Health & Family welfare vide its OM dated 18/01/2022 have issued instruction/clarification to all the CMOs In-Charge and other Medical Officers of all CGHS Wellness Centres throughout the country that empanelled Hospitals shall provide treatment on credit basis to CGHS beneficiaries on referral or in Medical emergency to all CGHS Pensionary beneficiaries irrespective of the City/Wellness Centre, where the CGHS Card is registered and the credit bill shall be sent to the CGHS of the City, where the treatment is taken.
